Marina di Salivoli is located in the residential area of Piombino , Northwest the city center and five nautical miles from Elba island , Italy.   The total capacity of the port is about 490 berths for boats up to 18 m in length. On the harbour zone the sea floor is composed by sand and rocks, and depth can vary between 2.5 to 4 meters . It also has a dry dock area for all kinds of work, where you can make use of a travel lift for boats up to 80 tons , platforms for masts interventions, sails disassembly and repair , mechanical interventions , carpentry, winter storage , etc. . In July of 2000 was founded the Yacht Club Marina di Salivoli as non-profit association with the aim of promoting yachting , fishing , swimming and other water sports. Close to the harbor is a shopping center able to meet all the needs and requirements of port customers.
